Both scenarios have helped to prevail Leak Sealers Environmental to the for-front of valve repair service in the industry. There are many different techniques in which a Response Team member can solve valve repair issues while the valve is still in service with the first being to drill and inject a sealant into the valve packing area. Another technique utilized by Leak Sealers Environmental is to gagg and change the packing bolts all while the valve is still in service. All techniques such as hand packing of the valve, resurfacing of the flange faces, and break out and re-torquing of the flanges all require the valve to be out of service.
